Hello Mulongo, When working in WaterGEMS for AutoCAD Civil 3D, profiles utilize the native WaterGEMS profiling tools. However, you can still make changes to the WaterGEMS model. When moving the cell that represents a WaterGEMS node element, it will move that element in the WaterGEMS model database as well as in the AutoCAD drawing. Typically with water distribution, users aren't as interested in profiles. Profiles tend to be more meaningful with storm and sewer models, which is why SewerGEMS, SewerCAD, StormCAD and CivilStorm can exchange data with Civil3D via the LandXML standard, where the native Civil3D profiling tools can be used. As Steve mentioned, you could export the water model to Shapefile format . You could also export the water model to our i-model format, and view it in 3D in MicroStation: Can WaterGEMS/CAD or HAMMER display elements in 3D? I've added some notes about this to the following wiki article: Civil3D integration (Pipe network import/export)
