Salaam Tom I know how to generate 'system head curve' and 'pump head curve'. Let me ask my question clearly: Suppose there is just one pump we have to use. It's 'optimal operating point' is clear for us. But the pump works on another point and we have not another pump to replace with it. What is your suggestion to alter the operating point to set exactly on it's optimal point? Using a valve e.g. PSV or FCV is suitable? And which one? Alpha
