Hi Dr. PK, As you know, we cannot just control one parameter. If we restrict flow, we will see drop in head. So, I feel like there must be something else that needs attentions. The flows are matching with or without the FCV and are they matching at the source as well? If flows are matching downstream of FCV when FCV is active (controlling): Somehow you are receiving high flow. Are your source adding too much flow? If flows are matching without FCV (or FCV is inactive / not controlling) There shouldn't be headloss at the FCV.
