Product(s): Bentley CivilStorm, SewerGEMS, PondPack Version(s): 08.11.XX.XX Area: Layout and Data Input Problem How can you construct a time-depth table from an IDF table/curve? When using the "add return event from IDF" option, why doesn't the IDF table show up? Solution To construct a time-depth table based on an IDF curve, create a new time-depth storm event group, then click the new button and choose "add return event from IDF". You will need to first export the IDF curve to a storm event group library before you can select it. To construct the time-depth table, the Alternating Block Method is used. Details of this method are documented in the book Stormwater Conveyance Modeling and Design (page 97). This method results in a hyetograph consistent with the IDF curves for a particular location.
