Forum Post: RE: Submersible Pump

Hello again, Thank you for your response. I made some changes with your help and uploaded a new version of my model. No, I don't have a VSP. I just changed the proprieties to see how it works, sorry for that. I need something really simple, because I need it fast. I want to observe the cycles of my pump according to the inflow (about 150 m^3/day), but I don't know what should I change to have the same flow out, so my flow in (net) would be about 0. How can I influence the velocity? In my calculations I got that at a flow of 48 m^3/day the velocity is greater than 0.7 m/s in a 250 mm conduit, but in my model is not the same. I need the same velocity at the exit of the pressure conduits. So if I increase the flow and head in the pump definition, I should get greater velocity, but instead I get a greater Flow (total out) in my wet well, which I don't understand since my pump should stop accordingly to the levels in the wet well. Thank you for your response!
