Hello, I tested this in a sample model. I created a formula User Data Extension (UDX) for a manhole, as node elements have the ground elevation and HGL results you are using (conduits don't have a field for ground elevation). As the hydraulic grade out of the manhole changed with time, so did the results in the formula UDX. Try graphing the results, perhaps including the UDX field and the Hydraulic Grade (Out) results in the same graph. You may need to look at the data tab to see the results more clearly, since the scale may result in what looks like a straight line, depending on the system. For the maximum hydraulic grade at the upstream end of a conduit, you could also look at the maximum hydraulic grade for the node upstream of the conduit. Again, graphing the hydraulic grade out of the manhole and the hydraulic grade into the conduit should help confirm if these two results are the same for your model.
