Hello, I have split the thread to create a new one, as the question is a new one and the original thread was rather old. Could you clarify your question? Is this related to the analyzing the constituent, or is it the impact (such as losses) of a detector in the system? If it is a detector and you expect losses from it, you could model this as a minor loss at some point near where the detector will be. However, if the losses are negligent, you might consider leaving it out altogether. A sensitivity analysis could be done where you test different suspected loss values to see what kind of impact can be seen.
